Elma Lahive works at NERC CEH (UK) and is Deputy WP leader of NanoFASE WP7. 

Elma earned her PhD from University College Cork, Ireland in 2011. 

"I am an ecotoxicologist and while my background is in aquatic ecotoxicology I have developed a strong interest in soils. As deputy WPL I support Geert Cornelis and our partners to predict and classify the soil types most vulnerable when exposed to ENMs. My contribution is the design and delivery of experiments providing data on how plants can influence ENM fate in different soils, as well as on the fate of ENM in plants. Together these will all contribute to the overall development of the soil model within NanoFASE."
