I’m currently coming up to the end of my first year of doing my PhD. My time is split between ICL and CEH and I’m looking at nanoparticles in plants at environmentally relevant concentrations. I will be using nanomaterials labelled with a highly distinct isotopic signature to help me utilise environmentally relevant concentrations in exposure studies with plants. I’m using column chemistry and MC-ICP-MS to analyse my samples.

I enjoy climbing, hiking and running and the occasional insect sketch.
