Submit abstracts for the NanoImpact Conference

NanoImpact invites for abstract for oral and poster presentation submission for the project's Conference on Monte Verità in Southern Switzerland, March 12-17, 2017.

The last 10 years saw an enormous growth in nanosafety funding and published research. Answers are now demanded whether these new materials represent a novel threat to humans and the environment and whether nanomaterials need to be assessed differently and more stringent than conventional materials. The overall goal of the planned conference will be to integrate the scientific knowledge available about nanomaterial exposure, fate, effects and risks in the environment. The core topic of all presentations should address whether nanomaterials have novel fate routes and effects and pose new and unknown threats under environmentally relevant conditions that are caused by their special properties and that cannot be scaled from larger particles. The conference has so far an impressive list of 18 invited speakers from all over the world that will present their view on the grand nano-questions.

The deadline for abstract submission is November 15, 2016. The meeting will be limited to 120 people in total.
