At the Hands-on Workshop on Nanosafety Assessment organized by the FP7 project eNanoMapper with FP7 and H2020 projects SUN, GuideNano and NanoFASE in Basel on 10/02/2016, Claus Svendsen (NERC, NanoFASE coordinator) co-chaired the session on exposure.

Building on results from the past NanoFATE project, Claus, Richard Williams and Ralf Kägi from NanoFASE presented and moderated two exercises where the attendants had to respectively estimate concentrations of ENMs in soils from sludge and in rivers from sewage effluent.

Around 50 experts from Research institutions across Europe attended the session in person or on-line.
